Hi list, I'm using Word 2010 with Jaws 16.0.4468. I had a sighted person proofread a document and they are seeing blank lines in the document which I cannot detect using Jaws. For example, with Jaws I read
This is line 5 of the document. This is line 6 of the page. So, of course, I assume there is no blank line between the 2 lines of text. But the sighted person says there is a blank line there, that is what he sees. Forgive my frustration, but how in the hell am I supposed to create documents like this? I hope this is just a setting I need to adjust, but it seems so fundamental that a mere setting wouldn't cover something so critical to composition. I'm hoping someone can enlighten me. Meanwhile, I'm off for a mental health break. Or breakdown, whatever comes first. <smile> Thanks, Norma For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
