Hello Kelly,

I have actually experienced that phenomenon in my Adobe acrobat menus. When I 
hit the alt key and arrow from left to right through the names of the menus it 
says file with the first two letters of edit. Four instance , "File-ed". It 
then goes on to say, dIttview for view and so on.

I am running JAWS 16 on a new Lenovo yoga running windows 10.
