Okay, I'll give that another look.
Thanks!

Rick,
I believe there is an option button in that envelope printing dialogue. That
will bring up a series of pages for the printer, where you can select the
paper size based on the type of envelope that you are going to print.

Hi Dave,
Have you had the occasion to print on different size envelopes?
If so, do you have a quick way to get to that dialogue?
I generally print on business size envelopes, so I haven't looked into the
settings to select a different size, but it may come in handy some day.

Rick,

Okay, I get that, and since I use an auxiliary tray on my printer that has
adjustable guides, that requires me to select that tray and use manual feed.

all good info. I do envelopes rarely enough that 30% of the time I print
them upside-down, forgetting which way to point that flap.

Hi Dave,
I did point that out, just used different wording.
1. Insert an envelope into your printer tray, face down, on the right side
of the tray, making sure that the point of the envelope flap is pointing to
the right.
In this position, the flap would be closed.

The default envelope settings should work for a standard business size
This implies that if a different size envelope is used, some settings
changes may be required. smile

Rick,

Yes, I also have 2007 and that's correct.

I would point out two additions:

1. The envelope needs to still be folded close, not open with the flap
pointing outward.
2. It may be necessary to set a different paper tray (manual in my case) for
some printers.

Hi Jane,
If I remember correctly from your earlier post, you are using Office 2007,
if that is the case, try this:

1. Insert an envelope into your printer tray, face down, on the right side
of the tray, making sure that the point of the envelope flap is pointing to
the right.
The default envelope settings should work for a standard business size
envelope.
2. While in Word, press the key combination, Alt + M, for the Mailings tab.
3. Now press the letter E, for the envelope wizard.
4. When the wizard dialogue opens you should be on the edit field for the
delivery address, so just type the address as it should appear on the
envelope, or you can copy an address from elsewhere and paste it here.
5. Once you have the delivery address field filled in, tab to the return
address field and do the same as above.
6. Once you have these fields filled in, simply tab to the print button, and
spacebar it.
Note:
After you have pressed the print button, you should get a dialogue asking if
you want to keep the return address as the default,
simply tab to the appropriate yes, or no, button and spacebar it.

Also, if you have Access Keys turned on in Jaws, as you move thru the
ribbons, the appropriate keys for quick access will be spoken.
Having this set to menus and dialogues, or "all", can be quite helpful.

I have researched how to do envelopes in Word but can't make sense of it
all. What they are saying to click on does not appear to me. Can anyone tell
me how to fill out envelopes in Word.
