Hi Mister Ed, Oh, & by the way, how's Wilbur?! LOL Sorry I just couldn't resist.
Try, control, shift, + F, for forward, & control, shift, + B, for rewind. Other notes: Subject: Windows Media Player 11 Keystrokes and Notes Windows media player 11 instructions, Player controls keyboard shortcuts To do this Use this keyboard shortcut Play or pause a file CTRL+P Stop playback CTRL+S Mute volume F7 Increase volume F9 Decrease volume F8 Play previous item CTRL+B Play next item CTRL+F Rewind CTRL+SHIFT+B Fast-forward CTRL+SHIFT+F Play faster than normal speed (time compression) CTRL+SHIFT+G Play at normal speed CTRL+SHIFT+N Play slower than normal speed (time expansion) CTRL+SHIFT+S table end Note List of 1 items . Rewind and fast-forward are not available for all files. Yes, ctrl-shift-b is normally innefective. So, if you back- tab a number of times (about 20) you come to the Seek left/right slider which gives the number of seconds that have elapsed in the file or track playing. If you hit left-arrow or up-arrow you will be taken back - 1/20 for each press. Thus, in a file of 30 mins, one press of the left-arrow key here equals about 90 seconds back. Conversely, right- or down-arrow takes you that amount forward. As I recall, the alt key brings up a file menu, and you can navigate through that menu for the controls you seek. I don't believe rewind is an option. It may depend on which version of WMP you have on your system. To state the obvious, if I'm wrong about the file menus, you might Google such terms as JAWS, shortcuts, Windows Media Player. But I'm sure someone will eventually give you the answer. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Mr. Ed Sent: Saturday, September 10, 2016 10:01 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Hotkeys for Media Player Sorry about that. Also is there a way to move it forward or backwards in small segments as I am trying to listen to a Jaws podcast and hear the hotkeys they are giving on the Jaws podcast. Any suggestions on how to do this would be appreciated.
