Hello, I am using JAWS 17 and a Focus 14 (for now). I currently have my default web browser set to Mozilla Firefox. I am having an issue in which I cannot input any contracted braille in Firefox. However, if I type the same text in Internet Explorer using contracted braille, it works fine. I checked my default braille settings in JAWS and both input and output are set to unified English braille grade 2, so I don't understand why braille in will not work in Firefox when it works in every other program. Is anyone else having this issue with the latest version of Firefox? If so, is there a solution or will I just have to use Internet Explorer if I want contracted braille input?
