After doing that to set it up the f12 keystroke can then be used for your save as

1. ALT-F
2. A
3. Tab to and indicate what type of file you want to save the document in.
That includes several options and .rtf and .txt are near the bottom of the
list.
4.  Tab to and locate the folder you want to use for storing the Save As
file.  Depending on your system, you may have to work through things like:
This PC
Documents
My Documents
FOLDER NAME
5. Back Tab to the Save button and press spacebar or Enter to confirm.
