I have had varying levels of success with recaptcha, but it is a step forward. My beef is that it seems to be used everywhere, even for simple things like joining an Email list.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Unusual Recaptcha experience

Confirming a subscription, I had to verify being human by completing a
"challenge". Selecting an audio challenge I needed to match several
choices with x boxes with a topic, such as fish stew and dance.

The audio challenge was in JAWS-readable text.

I checked appropriate boxes and passed - the third time around. A young
person with only a high school education may have had difficulty with
passing as fish stew included Italian and French stews most people could
not pronounce (cioppino).

Bottom line, though - the audio challenge was a refreshing change from
garbled sounds

I'm not wearing a diaper, so don't try to change me.
