If you are in the "This PC" mode, arrow down to the particular device, press
Shift F10, then arrow down to Eject, then press Enter. Wait for the pc to
say it is safe to remove the device, or arrow through the devices. If your
device is not there, then remove it. Hope this helps. Jerry

I still use Windows 7 but I have a machine with Windows 10. Ejecting an
external device like a smart phone plugged into my USB used to be simple
just select the device in the Computer device list and do a Alt-F and j.
Now I am stuck on what to doinWindows 10. Any help would be appreciated.
