The table format is very likely to be your problem, as you have to be very
careful with what you select, and the table structure may not be preserved
when pasted.

I suggest experimenting with the paste options. Microsoft Word has several of
these, and you need to choose the correct one. I've had difficulty with this
while copying text from one MS-Word document to another. I can't remember
which option preserves the original document styles, but it's the one that I
would suggest trying first. Microsoft Outlook uses styles similar to those of
Microsoft Word.
