While the commands that have already been provided are correct, if you ever forget them here is another option.
Place your cursor on the row below or to the right of the column where you want to insert . Press the application key to open the context menu. Navigate to Insert and press Enter or right arrow. Arrow down to what type of insert you want to do and press Enter.
