Helga,
Press windows key + R,
Then, type MSCONFIG-enter.
When the window opens up,
Tab across to the end of the first tab,
press control tab, to cycle with in the tabs, I think there is 5 tabs or 4.
Cycle to the start up tab and locate skype, either use the tab key or your
arrows to manuever
And just uncheck skype from starting up at start up...
Tab to the ok button-spacebar.
The PC should not ask to do a restart, just because you unchecked skype.
Close the window.
HTH, Jorge

turn on my computer, my skype goes on as well. In other words, the app opens
automatically by itself. So my question is, is there a way to make skype not
to open automatically? Just wondering since I take my computer to school
to take my exam and I don't want people to call me when I'm at school.

appreciate any help you can offer me regarding this matter. I look forward
in hearing from you soon. Thanks and God bless!
