I just tested this scenario under JAWS 18, Microsoft Office 2016 with latest updates, under windows 10 Pro. I am unable to reproduce the problem you describe. However, I am experiencing other difficulties with JAWS and Microsoft Word, especially if I try to insert comments into documents that I receive from colleagues at work. That issue is currently before VFO's support department. A few suggestions:
1. Make sure your copy of Microsoft Office is up to date, and that you're running the latest version of JAWS 18. 2. Switch JAWS to default configuration mode with Insert+Space, z. Once you've finished testing, switch this mode off with the same command. If the problem still occurs when you're in this mode, it shows that nothing in your JAWS settings is responsible. 3. Running a JAWS repair actually may be worth it. Sometimes, it eliminates problems. There's something that differs between your system and mine, and which explains why you're seeing the issue but I'm not.
