It may not be the best anti virus, but I've been quite happy with
Microsoft Security Essentials, Windows Defender for Windows 10. It's
fully accessible and only pops up a message when malware is found.
Before you switch to something else, you might want to check and see if
there is a way to disable the new network notifications that are causing
problems.

What is the next best jaws friendly anti virus software? My grandson wants
me to immediately uninstall vipre from his computer. He is home on college
break and is trying to play some games with his friends. Every few minutes a
message that a new network was detected and he is to trust or deny. When
this pops he is blown out of his game. It also happens with a few other web
pages. When I receive that message I must allow it quite a few times before
it goes away. Both his computer and my desktop are cabled to the modem. The
printer is wireless on his and some will be usb on my computer. Everything
else is wireless.
