Honestly between the two, I would use outlook. The reasons why is with outlook, you are able to quickly navigate to the folders you create, also easily create folders, message rules do not work in the mail app where as it does in outlook. The app if you do not like orgonomics then it's not for you, if you just do the basic send and receive, it'll be fine. As of right now, it's not the greatest but useable and duable, and there might be improvements down the road.
There are pros and cons with each, but when it comes down to it, I rather use outlook primarily. The mail app is native to windows 10, so type mail in the windows search, and you will see the mail app. Press enter to launch it and follow the prompts to set up your account. How would you compare it to outlook? I am using outlook 2010 at present. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kimsan Sent: Tuesday, January 3, 2017 4:40 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Windows Mail Ap Question It works wonderfully with jaws now. Type in the search of the windows start, mail and the first result should be the mail app. Don't compare it to outlook, windows live, nor any other client, or you will drive yourself bonkers. I'm much quicker on outlook vs the mail appp but just used it for bordum and it was just sitting there being neglected. Over the past several days, I have noticed a few post/inquiries regarding the Windows Mail ap. Can anyone tell me how well it works with JAWS, and where to find it? I have Windows 10, and JAWS 17. Thanks and Happy New Year.
