Try running the settings center, and type the word date in the search field.
I think there is a setting where the dates are interpreted by JAWS
automatically.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] question about JAWS 18 and numbers

I am wondering how to change the reading of a number ordering in JAWS 18.

When naming a file with a month, such as January, 2017, when I place the
number 01 in front of the word January, so that when I enter February, I can
place 02 in front of it, it reads January 1st, rather than 01 and then the
words January, 2017.

I am unable to find where to make the change so it will read the way I need
it to.

How is this done?

Thank you.

Vicki
