Firefox can also do this. A document that (otherwise, in Adobe or online in
IE), appears 'empty' signifying OCR needs to be done in it, can be read by
downloading the pdf in Firefox, and/or opening it.

Hi all,
Not sure if people knew but you can read pdf documents in word 2016.
This is the case even for documents that need ocr.
All you need to do is to open the pdf document like you would a normal
document from within word.
