Hi For hosting a virtual machine, you can use VMwarePlayer. It has been accessible since version 5. It is free for home use. There were JAWS scripts available for VMwarePlayer developed by Don Marang. But I believe that he is no longer with us, so I don't know if they still can be found. But if you decide to use VMwarePlayer, I can send you the scripts. I used it to host a Windows XP virtual machine in Windows 7. But when I upgraded to Windows 10, the Windows XP machine was no longer authorized to run.
With VMwarePlayer, you'll need to install the version of Windows or other operating system using VMwarePlayer to create a virtual machine. If you create a Windows virtual machine, you will have to install and authorize JAWS on it. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Scorpio Sent: Saturday, January 28, 2017 09:01 To: [email protected] Subject: [JAWS-Users] Virtual Machines and Jaws Hi Folks, I’ve decided to delve into the realm of virtual machines and I’m wondering if there are any fully accessible virtual machine software. There’s a whole bunch of software I would like to try out, but would rather not crash my main computer, so if anyone know what software I can do to play with this, please let me know. I’m using the latest Windows 10, with the latest version of Jaws and if the software is fully accessible and free, that would be magnificent. Thanks.
