Two possibilities come to mind. First, the most-often-given advice on this
list: Is MS word running maximized? The quick way both to find out and fix
is to go to the MS Word icon on your desktop (assuming you have one), press
alt-enter for properties, then tab until you hear the window size. It should
say "maximized." If not, arrow up or down for that option, then tab to Okay.
(I can't remember if an Apply button comes up.)

Second, since the problem is erratic, I wonder if there's something in your
document's format that causes JAWS to stop and start over. I'm assuming this
problem comes up when you're in "say all." The next time this happens, stop
JAWS with the control key and see if you can discern anything unusual, such
as a code or format change, in that sentence.

Well, there's a third possibility, which is that you might need more RAM.
But with any luck, this isn't the answer.

Hi all,

I am writing a book, and in reading my work thus far, I notice that jaws
will start reading a sentence, get about half way into that sentence, and
start the sentence over again. It happens randomly, not at any specific
time. Is there any way to fix this? I have word 2010, jaws 18 and a W10
computer. Thanks for your help. Jim
