Here's what I would recommend: 1. Always save the base version--the one with only a single zero to the right of the decimal point--as well as any updates; or, at least, the most current update; to that version. 2. Any time you go from base version to base version, save all of the older version installations until you know that the new base version is totally satisfactory. For example, if going from JAWS 6 to JAWS 7, save JAWS 6.0 and all of its updates until you know that JAWS 7.0 is completely satisfactory, then uninstall all of the JAWS 6 versions.
