Let me make sure I understand you correctly. All I need to do is open "My Computer" window and navigate to where the pst file resides. Just copy it from there and paste it where ever I want to save the backup. By doing this, I will have backed up all of my mail folders, my contacts, tasks, calendar and notes? is this correct? If so, can anyone help me with a question about backing up Outlook? What is the easiest and safest way to frequently backup my Outlook PST file? Can I just make a copy of the pst file and save it some where other then my hard drive? Do I need to export the file and save it elsewhere? Or do I need to use a third party software package to back it up?
