If the address is always the same and if some mail sent to that address is
going through while other mail sent to it results in this message, then
it looks like an intermittent problem with the outgoing e-mail server at
airmail.net (your ISP). "Relay not permitted" is a technical message and I'm
not sure enough of my SMTP protocol information to want to try to explain
it, but you should call your ISP, since they're the cause of the problem.

Subject: [jaws-users] how do I stop this error message?

When I send or reply to a message but not all of them I keep getting the
following message. I hit the hide button and the message is sent on anyway.
Why am I getting this and how can I stop it? It happens about every 3 out
of 4 emails. I replaced the email adress with bla, bla, bla,.

thanks,
cj
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by
the server. The rejected e-mail address was ' bla, bla, bla, . Subject 'your
party', Account: 'pop3.airmail.net', Server: 'smtp.airmail.net', Protocol:
SMTP, Server Response: '550 relay not permitted', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No,
Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79
