I had the same problem with the merge utility going from 7 to 7.1, and
had to reset many things manually.

Hi Khan;

When I went from Jaws 7.0 to 7.1, Jaws Tech Support said I should not
use the merge feature.

As a matter of fact, I did use the merge feature and I was having all
sorts of problems.

I called Jaws and we un-installed Jaws 7.1 and put it back in without
using the merge feature.

I don't know if this applies to your situation or not.

You might want to check with Jaws.

Anthony
