All of you encountering focus or problems where JAWS simply stops speaking should be certain to have the latest drivers for your video card installed. I learned a long time ago that doing this can resolve a ton of apparent JAWS issues that are really computer issues. Get the drivers directly from the manufacturer of your video card, not from the company that built your computer.
