All of you encountering focus or problems where JAWS simply stops speaking
should be certain to have the latest drivers for your video card installed.
I learned a long time ago that doing this can resolve a ton of apparent JAWS
issues that are really computer issues. Get the drivers directly from the
manufacturer of your video card, not from the company that built your
computer. For example, Dell is several versions behind in terms of the ATI
drivers they supply for my system, but I can get the very latest ones from
the ATI web site.
