It worked fine but allI saw was the intro page. I know there's got to be more. This is for a class I have in 2 days andI didn't even read the first chapter yet. I like the programexcept for that quirk. ----- Original Message ----- From: Lou To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, August 27, 2006 6:48 PM Subject: Re: [jaws-users] PDF documents to text
Hi,I used it last night all it does is convert the document. You bring the program up and then browse to the document and it will convert it to txt. It worked great for me. I could not get adobe to convert the document but this program did it fine. hth Lou ----- Original Message ----- From: betty emmons To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, August 27, 2006 5:29 PM Subject: Re: [jaws-users] PDF documents to text my question is does this thing do the same as acrobat reader? I really think it does but want to make sure before I download this thing. Never the less I am glad to hear that many of you seem to be taking advantage of the material freely available to all up on the home page. The only reason I built it and I had to learn basic HTML coding by studying manuals to do it is because I feel the project happened to be worth doing, and hearing that it is being accessed and appreciated is all the reward I need. Thank you and remember if something isn't up there today it might manage to get posted tomorrow or the next day. I update the thing when ever time and information I feel is worth posting comes my way. Thanks very much for this program to the person who made it. I needed this document for a history class I am taking.
