As Wally mentioned, Norton Ghost is exactly what you want, but be 
warned--it's not cheap. However, it literally makes a complete image of your 
drive and can restore it in full. In fact, I know people who image several 
different operating systems (versions of Windows) and then restore the one 
that they need to have available for testing software.
