Either that or use each e-mail account for a specific purpose. For example, I use this account ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) almost exclusively for my mailing list subscriptions. I have also created rules so that each list's messages go into their own folder. As a result, even if someone uses this address to send me private e-mail (and I maintain a separate address that I encourage family and friends to use for that), I'll see it pretty quickly, since no mail remains in my Inbox other than things that aren't list messages.
