  I use sygate personal firewall myself for several years already. You'll find
it up on my programs page.

  Ok, what other choice is there? I will notuse the wincows firewall as that
doesn't block outgoing transmitions.

  Dan -

  Excellent commentary on ZoneAlarm. I do not understand why _any_ blind user;
  especially one using JAWS; would ever muck around with that piece of
  unspeakable junk.

  Sarah,

  Zone alarm would occasionally do that thing where it would grab focus and
  would absolutely refuse to give it back. A sighted person couldn't even
  get it back on track, it just wouldn't minimize. I got so incredibly
  frustrated with it after a few rounds like this that I uninstalled it,
  then burned the install file to CD and then ran the CD through my
  shredder. If I could have reached into the hard drive and scraped the
  ones and zeros off with my fingernales I would have. *GRIN*

  For that reason, I don't use Zone Alarm anymore and never will again.
