Because you need to conduct the file search from the MS-DOS prompt and no,
you are not running in DOS--you are running in Windows. JAWS continues to
speak when at the Command (also known as the MS-DOS) prompt. To exit the
Command Prompt, just type the word "exit" (without the quotes) at the
prompt.

Hi Walt,

Why is this action done in MS Dos? Is this a dos file? Does jaws 7.1 speak
in dos and how do I get back out of there and go to windows?
I've never been in MS Dos to my knowledge..
