hehehe, too bad we can't trade them in for upgrades wouldn't that save us a
bundle of money..
Guess if nothing else one could reflect back on how far FS has come with
Jaws alittle stroll down screen readers history memory lane of course I can
only go back as far as 3.7.
When I had my Dos machine I used Vocal Eyes excellent program for that old
system. But when I got the job as the book keeper for this church I was sent
to San Antonio for selection in determining which software would work better
for me in terms of the job..I had been talking to my niece one day before
this trip and heard her Jaws and noted how clear it was and pretty much made
up my mind to go with Jaws verses Window Eyes and it was a good thing being
as since I use Excel WE didn't support that program back in 2001 so Jaws was
the more logical choice and I really can't say I've had that much trouble
with the program that alittle tweeking couldn't fix..
I know people get upset but really if we didn't have dedicated people
looking after our best interests providing the tools for us to access online
and other aspects of the computer as they do then I certainly wouldn't be
employed as well as many others. I don't like paying $200 for my SMA but if
I wantto stay current well that's how it is..
I enjoy learning more effective ways to use Jaws and other programs my best
little nugget of late is still that..Alt B for showing the BCC that is a
real gem.
