Some e-mail clients just do that. In most cases, it's a false attachment and if you try to open it, JAWS will (correctly) report that there is no attachment. Eudora is particularly guilty of doing this, but if users have Outlook and/or Outlook Express configured in certain ways (to attach a so-called V-card, I think), they will also do it. Don't worry about it--it happens on every list I'm on and ever been on.
