Hi, here are the steps you would need to follow, in order to assign the print screen key to, "minimize to the desktop". 1. Focus on the taskbar, or desktop. 2. Press insert 8 to enter the jaws default keyboard manager. 3. You will be brought into the default.jkm file. 4. Tab once to get into the list of all options. 5. Quickly type, min, to get to minimizeAllApps. 6. Press alt A for actions menu, then choose add keystroke and press enter. 7. You will get a message asking if you wish to make this change, say yes by pressing enter. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sarah" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, September 16, 2006 1:21 PM Subject: Re: [jaws-users] want to go to the desktop automatically Ok, this might seem odd but how do yu change that desktop hotkey asignment? I've made a couple of modifications to the SaySystemTime script so that the date and time are slightly reformatted to suit my personal preferences and I always reassign that to the Pause key so that I can trigger it with one hand and a single key. What with yours now implemented, I now have two of those three otherwise pretty useless keys assigned to something very useful. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Ferrin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, September 15, 2006 1:39 PM Subject: Re: [jaws-users] want to go to the desktop automatically I always redefine my print screen key to minimize to the desktop. It's very quick, soon as jaws start talking I just hit that key and I'm on the desktop.
