Hi All, I was just reading the thread about versions of Jaws running with certain versions of Windows and such, and I was prompted to go and check which version of Jaws I was running, since I wasn't the one who installed it on this computer, and quite frankly, I Never bothered to check, since it never bothered me and this was my back-up system if my laptop crashed, which, as you all know, did.
Anyway, the question I have is whether the Unicode version of Jaws is the Professional version everyone is speaking about? I checked the version I was running and Jaws said it was version 7.00.135 Unicode. I admit, screen readers are not my forte as I only started using them when I went blind, and I haven't needed to check the versions of Jaws that were installed on this computer, and again, up until this point, I never ordered the versions of Jaws I got, it was always someone else who did it for me. so what does this mean? Is this the pro version of Jaws?
