You could turn off Windows Firewall, if you have it turned on. You cannot
turn off any anti virus program you have, since a router cannot protect you
from viruses that are sent as part of an e-mail.

Hi Mark;

I have a WRT54G Linksys router.

Are you saying I could turn off all my security setting in both my desktop
and my laptop computer?

Thanks

Anthony
