Lisa - AdShield is very definitely free. You can download it from Debbie Scales' site at:
http://www.jfwlite.com/programs.html/ It's very straightforward, but you may find as I did that it's necessary to use the JAWS cursor when setting it up. The program has two separate components and both must be turned on: the first is a system-wide component and the second is an individual user component. You can have both the Windows Pop-Up Blocker and AdShield on at the same time, but my own experience is that when AdShield is installed, there's absolutely no need for the other program and here as in so many other instances, the fewer programs you have running, the better your computer will operate. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lisa" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, September 22, 2006 11:11 AM Subject: [jaws-users] Add Shield Hello everyone, If I have my pop up blocker on in internet explorer, can I still run Add Shield for added protection? Also, is this program free, and where can I get it? Is the program easy to use with jaws? Sorry for all of the questions, but the discussion on the list got me curious about this program.
