Hello everyone, I am new on this list, and have a couple questions.

First, my name is Ben and I am a college student out in lovely California.
Now to my questions.

In Microsoft Word 2003, using Jaws 7.0 and 7.10, does Jaws work with or read
columns? In particular, does jaws allow someone to arrow through a document
with multiple columns and receive information from all the columns (for
example use the down arrow through the first column, and then go to column
2)?

Secondly, when creating columns, is there a way using Jaws to move the
insertion point to the second or third column without having to go to the
bottom of the page and then returning to the top of the second column with
the enter key?

Thirdly, is there a way to have Jaws read across a line of columns (for
example has Jaws read the text in column 1, column 2, and column 3 on line
one)?

Fourthly, is there a way to access the ruler in MS Word?

And last but not least, how would I find out what kind of formatting a word
or phrase has using Jaws?

Thank you in advance, and I look forward in joining you on this list.
