It won't be--not if the user really wants power and flexibility, but I 
suspect that MS is attempting to forestall possible problems with the 
federal government in terms of accessibility of their products as a vendor 
to the feds. At one point, Narrator got them off that hook, but it obviously 
isn't going to continue to do that. While MS may be able to make a 
technically accurate legal argument that access software isn't required, as 
a practical matter, I'll bet that from an efficiency point of view, whatever 
they provide won't come within ten miles of _real_ access packages.

It will be very interesting to see how the cards fall when Vista comes out.
Microsoft keeps bragging how there will not be a need for a screen reader
when Vista is ready.  My co-worker went to a presentation on Vista at CSUN
last March and was fed a lot of verbiage about this.  I surely hope that
this will not be the case.
