HJPad has it's own dictionary separate from office applications. Unfortunately I have found over time that it's dictionary is not quite as extensive as office possesses. This gives me an idea for a future project though. Maybe some time I'll try adding large amounts of words to the HJPad dictionary. I'm sure it's doable especially since I already know that adding words is quite possible in that program. I'm just considering adding large quantities at a single time. HMMMMM me thinks that's something for the winter. I have a spell check problem which is not covered by the recent discussions. I have HJ pad on the start menu and a short cut (alt -control HE) which gives immediate access any time from any where. This is quite handy as HJ pad has spell check which Word Pad does not. However, lately spell check in HJ has lost access to any dictionaries and reports every word as "Not in dictionary" and offers no suggestions. I have MS Word 2003 and its spell check is ok. Does HJ access this or does it have its own dictionary? I am running Jaws 5.1 with Windows xp home and service pack 2. In HJ Pad f7 opens the spell function ok and the buttons for ignore, change, suggestions etc are there, but no dictionary access to check any words. I hope this explanation is clear. Alan.
