Hailley - Personally, I wouldn't take any of the software updates unless it's a program that you know you need. The Dot Net Framework isn't something very vital--the only time I ever need it is when I install new video drivers, since ATI uses it. And if you don't use the modem, why bother? You could take that update if you want, but it's certainly not really necessary.
