Hailley, I think you're confusing the sleep enable mode in JAWS, which doesn't have anything to do with hibernation/stand by. The sleep enable in JAWS is for turning off JAWS where you might not want it to speak, such as in Openbook, for example, which has it's own voice.

But I don't use it because of the Jaws issue and that's what my original question was.. It's a bit confusing being as in the settings of Jaws it has a box to check that function but when one does then there's problems. Or there was in the past I haven't tried it on this new computer yet, how about you?
