yes it's for that but I have used Bit comet as well.. it's kindof tricky alittle but it works good in the fact it is continueous as long as the person is online but if it stops then when they go back online it will continue where left off so you don't start allover.. I ahve a friend who uses it all the time for movies..music and the like with no problem and it puts it's on folder on your pc for the music to download to and for others to upload from but only from that folder no where else can they get from your computer if you like later I can ask him some tricks/tips for ya..
