Hi, everyone. I noticed yesterday that avg had changed the name of their
spyware program from ewido to avg antispyware so I downloaded the free
version to try it. It is called a thirty day trial of the full version but
then reverts to the lesser version as freeware. My question is simple:
has anyone tried this? It will not run for me so I must be doing something
wrong. It is in the control panel and says it ran once today. It is also
on my desktop but not on the all programs list. If I go to the file menu,
all I get is "system" and no other menus. If I don't figure this out, I'll
do the search and destroy program so many of you have mentioned. It is just
strange that avg antivirus would be so accessible and this avg antispyware
would be totally unaccessible. Would appreciate your opinions. marilyn
