Does it help to refresh the screen? I have problems with JFW not reading properly while copying/pasting, and find refreshing the screen helps a little. The screen can be refreshed by pressing/holding the Jaws (Insert) Key, and tapping the Escape Key.
This is not the best solution, especially when pasting a lot of things, but it is the only thing that I have found helps.
