Hi there jason, I believe the last time I performed this function i simply hit enter and that return me to the web page. Here are some of my notes as discused on this list earlier this year.
Copying the address Bar" David suggested. When you're in IE hit the key stroke alt+D. This will highlight your address bar. Next hit control+C. That will copy it to the clipboard. You're done. I david the wld Thing suggested yes, you can copy the web page address from the address bar. 1, once you have a particular web page loaded, and you would like to either send the address to someone, or, just know exactly what the web address is, 1, you can press, alt+d, jaws should read the address bar, then, you can copy to clipboard, with ctrl+c, another way is, once a particular web page loads, use the keystroke, f6, again, jaws will read the web address, and again, you can ctrl+c to copy to clipboard. in the view menu of internet explorer, make sure that, standard buttons, and address bar are checked in the toolbar sub-menu. to check these items, once your in internet explorer, 1, alt+v for view, 2, you will land on the toolbar sub-menu, right arrow to open, or you can press enter. the first is, standard buttons, if it's check your fine, if it however is not checked, press enter. note, to check if the address bar is checked 1, alt+v for view, 2, right arrow or enter on toolbar sub-menu, 3, down arrow until you hear, address bar, if it's checked, your fine, if the item is not checked, press enter. Once you have copied the address bar, how do you put focus back onto the body of the window, i.e.. the information of the web page. well I just press the f6 key again.
