I would imagine, based on what I read in Walt's post about the tab concept, there must be a way to disable it.
For example, I can't readily remember off-hand where it was, I think it was in the task bar and start menu properties, that you can disable group similar task bar buttons, and I think in the internet options under the advanced tab, you have the option to manage single pairs of files or web pages, or something like that, and manage as a single file or window, or something like that. I mean, let's face it, shouldn't it be our decision what we'd like to see on our own task bar? Has anyone inquired whether this feature can be turned off, or is it a mandatory thing we have to put up with? I think people should answer that question before saying that Jaws is not accessible as it's predecessors. I mean, let's face it, if Microsoft has been touting it's accessibility to people with disabilities for the last ten or so years, why would they start making things inaccessible all of a sudden? It just doesn't make sense. I know, I know, I'm giving Billy Gates the benefit of the doubt and way too much credit, but he hasn't become a gazillionaire by forgetting about the little people, their money is as good as everyone else's, right? Anyway, it would be worth checking out. Just my thoughts on the subject.
