Well folks, According to Freedom Scientific, version 7.1 of Jaws will support IE 7. This is straight from the horses mouth.
The TSB states unequivocally, the following: * JAWS 7.0 and earlier do not support Internet Explorer 7. Please install JAWS 7.10, available June 2006, for improved operability. More extensive support, if needed, is targeted for a future release of JAWS. * Magic 9.50 and later are suitable for use while testing Internet Explorer 7. However, Internet Explorer 7 uses Clear by default, which will not present an optimal magnified image. It is recommended that you turn off ClearType on the Advanced tab in Internet Options. *** So, according to FS themselves, there are features of IE that can be turned off in the advanced tab for added accessibility, which I suspected because I doubt they would want to take a step back from their current accessibility trend. Will find out directly from Microsoft about the accessibility issue on Monday, and from what I hear, so will a number of people.
