What kind of errors are you getting when you try to access the documents? Are
the docs simply not showing up?

Subject: [jaws-users] MS Updates huge Problem

I am not nearly computer savvy as I should be. I really have never
understood everything about MS updates. last night I installed the MS
updates that were in my System Tray waiting to be installed. I saw that they
were for Word 2003, but my logic was that if ever I do install Word 2003,
then it would be all updated. Wrong!!!
I use only Word 2000 all the time and it works for me perfectly. However,
now, I cannot gain any access to my Word 2000 Documents since I do not have
Word 2003 anywhere in my system to install.
I ask: How could I find a way to uninstall these MS 2003 updates from
yesterday, since I cannot find my original Word 2000 program disk that was a
part of Small Business Tools. I can only find my older copy for NT and Win.
98, I think it says.
I hope someone can offer ideas on how I can remedy this impossible
situation for me now without the Program Disk. You know things like this
happen when you absolutely need to use the program and I must find some way
to be able to access my Word 2000 docs and be able to create Word 2000
Docs, somehow.
Thanks very, very much always for your expertise, time and dedication to
help others.
