So if I understand you correctly the video intercept won't install during a standard installation of JAWS. Assuming your video card works with JAWS as most of them do now a days here's my guess at this point. Try getting the file from FS and run it. They claim that is all a person needs to do. That's strange that hitting the details button when you receive the video intercept error doesn't open up that interactive dialog where you can install the hook as it's sometimes called. There's a file up on the tips and tricks page pertaining to running jaws from a CD. It walks you through installing the video intercept step by step. FHello List! Each time I install JAWS (any version) on my Windows XP Professional machine, I get a problem with JAWS Video Intercept. It tries to install it, but says it can't be found each time I click on execute. I downloaded a copy of JAWS and the same thing happened. How do I get the Video Intercept set up. I don't recall this happening in the past. Can I just get the file from FS and run it? Tell me what I need to do. I can't work unless JAWS gets installed and runs properly.
