For the last time--IE 7 does work with JAWS 7.10. The _one_ reported issue is with some combo boxes, but people are using it very successfully with JAWS 7.10. In addition, MS has stated; and I think it was mentioned here; that _when_ the IE 7 release comes as an automatic update, people will be advised what it is and will be given ample opportunity to _not_ install it. In other words, even those who have full automatic install of all updates turned on will be able to bypass IE 7 if they choose.
So, yes, all automatic updates would be the way to go. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob Batchelor" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, October 23, 2006 6:09 PM Subject: RE: [jaws-users] high priority vs. critical windows updates Walt, The new I.E. 7 is going to be released through auto update and until JAWS 8.0 comes out that would be 1 update you wouldn't want to do as there are several reported issues with it not being a good fit with JAWS 7.0 and 7.1. So no, not all automatic updates would be the way to go.
