Sorry for not including a subject line on my first post. I'm not sure how that happened.
Anthony, thanks for the directions, they worked. The interesting thing is that I had tried that prior to posting, and it didn't work. After trying your directions it worked and I figured out what I had been doing wrong on my own. You cannot have a file selected in the folder view window prior to using your application key. Get in to word, press control o to get in to your open files dialog, shift tab once to get to your file list, press the applications key, arrow down to arange by submenu, and you can tell it exactly how to sort the files. Hope this works for ya. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Annette Carr" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, October 29, 2006 10:24 PM Subject: [jaws-users] Hello All, I am using MS-Word 2003. Some how my husband who is sighted changed how my files are listed when you open or save a file. They appear to be listed by date, with the most recent file at the top of this list. I've used shift+Tab in the Open file dialog box to get up to the buttons. I made shift+sure that List was selected as the view layout. I've used the JAWS cursor to see if I could find something to click on that would allow me to change the file arrangement, but could not. I would like to get back to my original arrangement with my folders listed first in alphabetical order, followed by the files listed in alphabetical order. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
