Haillie, that sound is the sound of a pop up that has been blocked. It also blurps when you go to a site and hit a link that then is blocked. You can adjust all of this by going to the tools, arrowing down to pop up blocker submenu and going to settings. There's a list of stuff you can do there. Marilyn
